Jingwei Zhu, PhD, Postdoctoral Researcher. She received her PhD in Engineering from the Technical University of Munich, Germany, in 2025, under the supervision of Professors Uwe Stilla and Thomas H. Kolbe. Her main research focus is multi-source remote sensing data fusion, dedicated to integrating thermal infrared imagery, LiDAR point clouds, semantic 3D models, and spatio-temporal big data to serve urban fine-grained 3D modeling, building thermal performance analysis, and smart city digital twins.

Main research directions:

Calibration, registration, and fusion of thermal infrared images and LiDAR point clouds

3D Point Cloud Generation and Semantic Information Enhancement for Urban Thermal Environments

Urban sensing and analysis supported by multi-source spatio-temporal data (trajectories, imagery, point clouds)
