Training Model and Methods
The training model is based on the deep integration of industry and education. The first academic year focuses on professional courses and basic theoretical learning, the second academic year is mainly dedicated to internships in surveying and mapping engineering-related departments and integrating research on relevant topics, and the third academic year is for thesis writing and graduation defense.
Learning Format and Duration
The full-time mode of study has a basic duration of 3 years and a maximum duration of 5 years. Graduate students who cannot graduate within the basic study period should apply for an extension 3 months in advance. Graduate students who cannot graduate by the end of the maximum study period shall have their student status terminated as completion or withdrawal, with special cases handled in accordance with relevant national and Shanghai municipal regulations.
