Professional Background:

The Artificial Intelligence major is oriented towards major national needs. Based on the theories and methods of artificial intelligence, it conducts research in areas such as intelligent perception and interpretation of remote sensing, intelligent analysis of spatio-temporal big data, spatial digital twins and simulation, and embodied intelligence and spatial robotics. It continuously explores and develops the theoretical, methodological, and engineering practice paths for the cross-disciplinary integration of artificial intelligence with fields such as geographic information science, remote sensing science and technology, and earth observation and navigation.

Training Objectives:

It aims to cultivate high-level applied composite talents in the fields of artificial intelligence and spatial intelligence who possess both engineering practical skills and innovative capabilities. Students will master the solid basic theories and systematic professional knowledge of artificial intelligence, gain a systematic understanding of key technologies such as machine learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, computer vision, and intelligent control, while also gaining a relatively comprehensive understanding and familiarity with the frontier directions and research methods of related cross-disciplinary fields including artificial intelligence and remote sensing, geographic information science, spatial information engineering, and robotics and embodied intelligence.

Program Features:

Aligned with the overall development direction of the discipline, the Master of Engineering program in Artificial Intelligence is primarily oriented towards the urgent national demand for high-level, application-oriented, and interdisciplinary talents in fields such as intelligent remote sensing, spatial information, embodied intelligence, and intelligent robotics. It focuses on resolving the talent shortage in the "AI + spatial scenarios" direction within relevant engineering departments, including the spatial information industry, smart city and smart ecology construction, and intelligent transportation and low-altitude security. The program aims to cultivate high-level engineering, technical, and management talents with spatial intelligence characteristics directly for the front lines of production and application.
